Casting On Something New: Working on a passion project.

Hey there! 👋

Over the past few months, I’ve been channeling my creative energy into a passion project that blends my love of knitting and product design. I’m keeping the details under wraps for now, but I’m super excited to share some of the progress I’ve made so far!

So far, the journey has been full of exciting milestones and learning moments:

  • AI-Powered Project Planning: I’ve harnessed the power of AI to create a detailed project plan, helping me map out my ideas and set achievable goals.

  • Roadmap Creation: I’ve crafted a roadmap outlining MVP and future features, keeping me focused and on track.

  • Survey Design & Community Input: With a little help from AI, I built a 50-question survey to dive deep into how makers and designers discover, organize, and engage with their craft. I’ve also started reaching out to the knitting community for feedback—can’t wait to hear more!

  • Exploring Analogous Apps: Right now, I’m digging into existing and similar apps to identify any gaps and find ways to innovate.

But it’s not just about checking off tasks. This journey is also about the growth and learning that happens along the way!

  • Building Confidence: Pushing myself to reach out, take risks, and step outside my comfort zone has been a huge confidence boost!

  • Engaging with the Community: I am reaching out to makers to gather their thoughts, and the process has been inspiring! It’s reminded me why I’m passionate about creating something that truly serves the crafting community.

  • Sharpening My Skills: This project has been an amazing opportunity to stretch my design muscles, experimenting with new approaches to problem-solving.

  • Diving into Coding: I’m diving deeper into coding—while it’s challenging, the learning curve is rewarding, and I’m loving the process!

I’m excited to keep building and can’t wait to share more as I bring this vision to life! 🧶✨
